This October, Gill’s cousin Crawford, walked the West Highland Way, to raise money for Dreams-Wishes-Hopes. He had the company of his girlfriend Alexis and friends, Mark, Anne-Marie, Jill, Michael and Jen, who together raised over £1000 for the charity. The seven walked 97 miles from Milngavie near Glasgow to Fort William, over 6 days (covering between 15 & 20 miles per day)! Despite aching feet (and one case of food poisoning – poor Mark) spirits were high and this was aided by the generous donations made along the way by Inversnaid Bunkhouse and the Inveroran Hotel.
Well done to the walkers and thanks to everyone who sponsored them for helping towards the fantastic sum of money raised.
