Once again, Dreams-Wishes-Hopes were present at Oak Meadow Park,  Cheadle Hume for their fantastic PARTY IN THE PARK on Saturday 3rd July.  Last words Lost and Flamin Riot played to the crowds.  Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic day.

Shortly before she died, Gill asked Shirley to get me to do the run last year with her and Linda. It was the only request she made before she died that I said no to.

I know that Gill wanted me to do the run and when Linda said that she couldn’t do it in 2010, Shirley gently reminded me about Gilly’s wish!

So I did it. Slowly I might add, but if Gilly watched then she must be happy that I achieved her dream, wish and hope. My dream? I never have to do that again!! My Wish? That Gill’s happy and My hope? that I can walk again in a few weeks!!!!!

A pair of rubber gloves for £20 and a Paperclip auctioned for £123!!  What a fantastic night of fun!

A Scrumptuous Fish and Chips supper was provided by Fosters of Alderley Edge. The Brilliant band “Groove Thing” were brilliant and got the whole party going.  A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a fantastic success

The Inspiration and driving force behind our fundraising is Mrs Gillian Hazelby. Gill passed away on 14 January 2009 aged just 41. Gill spent the final few months of her life in St Anns Hospice, Greater Manchester. Now her family & friends want to raise £75,000 in her memory so that the day care centre at St Anns Hospice can be beautifully refurbished.
